The three apps are getting a new feature called<strong> &quot;invite to edit&quot;<\/strong>, which will let you type in a collaborator&#039;s email address to give them access to the file you&#039;re working on.<\/p>\n<p>Collaborators won&#039;t be able to work live on the file with you, but they will be able to open your work, make their own changes, save it, and bring those changes back to your machine. If someone is already editing the file, the new user can choose to either create a copy or wait until the current edit is complete.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Adobe Cloud<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The new feature works with .PSD and .AI files stored in the Adobe cloud. (It&#039;s already available in Adobe XD, too.) It also supports version history, so you&#039;ll be able to reverse the progress of work if a collaborator makes a mistake.<\/p>\n<p>Adobe announced that this feature went live in October. The company has been steadily building more collaboration capabilities into Creative Cloud \u2014 the service that connects its suite of apps \u2014 in hopes of making the platform fast, simple and reliable enough for teams to rely on to move their documents around.
